Privacy policy

We collect the account and profile information you provide, such as your name, email address, timezone, and sign-in details. If you choose text reminders, we also collect your mobile number, the time and method of consent, delivery preferences, and opt-out history.

We store product activity needed to provide your ritual, including cards you draw or keep, saved quotes, reminder settings, and membership status. We also receive ordinary device, browser, page-view, and interaction data through our hosting, security, and product analytics providers.

Payments are processed by Stripe and physical-product checkout may be handled by Shopify. Guru Yourself does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

We use this information to create and secure your account, deliver the daily experience, remember what you keep, manage subscriptions and purchases, send communications you request, support you, prevent abuse, understand product performance, and comply with legal obligations.

Product analytics help us understand aggregate journeys such as visits, onboarding, trial starts, subscriptions, and feature use. They are not used to determine your spiritual, medical, financial, or legal condition.

Guru Yourself uses your mobile number and SMS consent record only to provide the text-message program you explicitly request, operate it, prevent abuse, and meet carrier or legal requirements. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We share only the information necessary to deliver and support messages with communications providers such as Twilio and the mobile carriers involved in delivery. Those providers act on our instructions or under their own legal obligations. Your consent to receive messages is not transferred to another business.

You may reply STOP at any time or switch text reminders off in your account. Reply HELP for help. Opt-out and delivery records may be retained as needed to honor your choice and demonstrate compliance.

We and our service providers may use cookies or similar local technologies to keep you signed in, secure the service, remember preferences, measure usage, and diagnose problems. Where required, you can control non-essential technologies through the choices presented to you or through your browser.

We disclose information only as needed to operate Guru Yourself, for example to providers of hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, email, SMS, payments, ecommerce, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain required business and compliance records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

You can update many account and reminder settings from your account. You may unsubscribe using the link in an email, reply STOP to a text, or contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right available where you live. Some records may be kept when law or legitimate operational needs require it.

Guru Yourself and its providers may process information in the United States, Brazil, and other countries where they operate. We use available safeguards for international transfers where required. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
